I've never had trouble reading on my Palm. In fact, I prefer it. I like
being able to set the font size and have set it so that I can see it
comfortably and yet still have enough text on the screen to read.
I also like being able to "turn the page" simply by hitting the button. I
just read with my thumb lightly resting on the button and twitch it when I
want to change the page. I think the swipe method used by eReaders is
stupid. They are just trying to replicate a paper book reading experience
for the people who think paper books are superior. But I read too fast to
want to wait while the screen flashes to the next page and, as I said, it
is easier to twitch on a button than to take your hand off the unit to
swipe the screen. /rant off=E2=80=8B, can you tell this is a pet peeve? 8~)
Unfortunately, the point is moot. Without the means to sync, I won't be
able to add books to my TX and I've already read the ones on there now. I
haven't had a chance to check the link someone posted yesterday; I'll do
that this weekend. It would be great to be able to get my computer to talk
to my Palm.
