I was trying to think of one but the sticky part was trying to keep the keyboard off the screen because of the screen space that it takes up. The way it does that is by noticing when you check off (or uncheck) an item in the filtered list. > I just tried on a device with a keyboard with the SIP hidden, and checking off an item causes subsequent text to replace the search box contents rather than append. I can't reproduce the problem you described. Can you give a detailed step by step how-to? > Sure, here's what I do. This assumes I've put items to get on the Need list and now the Need list is up and running. Open on-screen keyboard, search box appears Type in text to search Item appears, check off item. Close keyboard so I can see rest of screen Touch anywhere on screen Open keyboard for a new search Search box opens again with last search text but it is not highlighted Since my on-screen keyboard is so huge I have to close it just to see most of the list. The highlighting seems to break when the keyboard turns on and off. Maybe if the search is brought up with the keyboard it should just start off blank or if the keyboard is sent away just erase the text that was there so the next time it starts up blank again? The box seems to remember the last search term always without ever erasing it.
