My wife and I have used it for a year or so. We now use "ToMarket" on our Android phones. It is much more like HandyShopper than GroceryIQ.  GroceryIQ has some nice features like emailing a shopping list and synchronizing between iOS devices and Android devices. I found that GroceryIQ wants to use categories like "Dairy" and "Paper Goods" not aisles.  Getting it to sort by  aisles is a laborious process. When one scans a barcode to add an item to the list you often get a long name like "Super Thin Sliced and After Being Freshly Picked Green Beans " instead of "Green Beans, French Cut" and it is categorized the way GroceryIQ wants and you have to go find it to then change the category to an aisle. It uses a product database that is preloaded with product names that must have been supplied by the manufacturers.  To build your own database with your own names like "French Cut Green Beans" or "Green Beans, French Cut" you add to "Favorites". In short, it is not as tailorable as HandyShopper or ToMarket - you do it in its way or you will be fighting it all the time.
