[HS] myShopi & Memento (Android)

I never used handyshopper for shopping! I just found it to be the best application for managing packing lists, mileage tracking, lent out items... I loved that you could use HS2edit to enter data en masse and then sync to HS... The closest thing I've found in Android is an app called Memento (Android Market). It is unbelievably customizable. You can create fields, define them as being Date, Currency, Boolean.... It's also awesome in that in syncs to Google Docs where mass editing can be done with ease. (Free version allows up to 3? Google Docs links. I've never needed more and just link/unlink if I need more...) I have no idea how it would work for shopping - but that's not what I use it for.

In terms of shopping, I really like myShopi (Android Market, App Store, Windows store). I've only used it on Android. It has an incredibly easy to use user interface where you basically select the picture of the item you're shopping for and it adds it to whichever store you want to buy it from. It comes with an elaborate built-in database (by country) - but you can also create your own stores, categories... I was kind of awestruck when I chose the Canadian database and it automatically set-up all the most common Canadian grocery stores... You can sort by aisles within each store... For me, it's all about ease of input and it doesn't get much better than what this app provides. You can literally create your lists and use them without touching the keyboard. You can also email/text the list very easily. There's no online portal to update your lists but I find the interface so simple that it's not necessary to use another tool.
