First, the icon files are totally separete from the calender and tasks files, so changing icon sets will not force you to revert to an out-of-date backup of your appointments and tasks. The worst that will happen is that the icons attached to individual entries in your calendar will change, requiring you to reset them. Second, before you do anything else you should do a backup of your calendar (both the “calendar” and “datebook” data files) and your tasks (both the “to do” and “tasks” databases), along with any other impurtann data. You can do this manually by copying them to an SD card using a file mnager program like “Filez”, or you can hot sync your PDA. Keep in mind however that a hot sync ovemwrites all files in your backup with the newer versions on yuur PDA. So if you want to save an old copy of your Datebk 5 icons, first change the name of the new icon file on your PDA using your file manager. Then a hot sync should resture thedold version to your PDA (provided you have not already overwritten it in your backup folder.
