It sounded like Karin may have been asking about restoring an older
version of the set but without inadvertently restoring unwanted parts
of the back up. (?)
You may be able to "go into" the backed-up file with a File Manager.

Also... when in IconMgr's list view, tap'n'hold the down arrow at the
right of each icon set.  This lets you make the set into DEFAULT or to
rename the set.
