Not only did the Memo DBs get deleted, but pEdit won't launch, the 
digitizer is completely out of calibration, there are a whack of prefs 
that are screwy, and all in all behaviour is unpredictable.

If you corrupt the Memo file bad enough, pEdit v8.12 and v8.13 sure can 
hose the system.

I'll go back to the log file I was keeping and restart the process, 
skipping the offending memos!
