Problem syncing Pdesk and Progect on Treo 650

Hello all and I appologize if this is covered elsewhere but I couldn't
find a solution. I have a Treo 650 and have been using Progect for a
couple of years on other Palm devices (Kyocera 7135, m500) and only
recently downloaded Pdesk and the latest Progect file (.29). When I
try to sync my Treo after installing Pdesk the sync process stops
at "syncing pdesk". No matter how long I let the Treo sit it never
completes the process. When I uninstall Pdesk I can sync normally.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
