If you only need export, XSLT can handle that.
If you want it to be two way, that would be a little bit harder...
In terms of the actual conduit code though, it should be possible to
choose a plugin, and therefore the plugin could be written to do
whatever...
I am currently working on the XML conversions, and so that is where my
focus is.
The actual conduit stuff, will be more flexible.
