The trouble is that the csvinout plugin imports fixed csv format (basically, it imports what it exports).

You have to open the csv file in Excel and add the additional required columns, to the csv produced by tp2csv.

I understand this is cumbersome. I'm just describing where the problem is. It's not how it was intended (back in the past).

I have now 2 choices:
- reprogram tp2csv, shall be easy but I don't have Delphi installed currently :(
- do a new plugin based on current csvinout.zip

It is not that hard if one is a programmer, but I'm not.

However...not sure if that's what I will be undertaking: Treepad has xml export, Progect will soon have XML coverter. It will only make sense to make a use of that converter. Especially if that converter will be the supported tool for the future. Someone would still have to write the "treepad plugin" for that converter, though.

That plugin is not intended for latest PDesk version.
If you delete csv.pyd in the plugins directory and copy there csv.py instead (it's enclosed with csvinout), it shall appear. However, it will only work for export from PDesk to Treepad, not the other way.

I will look what I can do. The above procedure (at the top) shall work, though cumbersome.

Anyway, if someone here has Delphi installed and would be open to
make just a simple change to a program (add few more static fields to
exported csv file, really simple) and compile it, that would be the best way.
