change presumed task default in PDesk

Is there a way to have PDesk have the default "task default" option be
action rather than progress?  I'm talking about when you open a new
list, having it make all tasks by default action, without having to go
to the task default dialog box.  

I almost always use action tasks, and find that I make a whole list on
the opening default of progress and need to go back and change all of
the tasks to action. 

I suppose one solution may be to have a dummy file that I have my
tasks set as action, and then rename it for each new project.
