I have used all of the mentioned "outliners" alongside Progect. The
best for my needs (next to Progect) was Splash Notes which seems to be
a replacement/upgrade of Thoughtmanager. The others proved too
complicated for my needs although they were all very good. In the end,
the "best" program is the one you use the most and in that respect,
Progect has been a life saver. I too wish I was able to help and we
are lucky someone like Rick takes the time. Thanks, Rick!
