Category Filtering and Outline Tab Closing on the desktop

I have been using ShadowPlan quite happily for a number of years, but
just recently decided to try using the desktop portion again.  So, I
upgraded to 4.3.1 and I'm giving it a spin.

I would like to put in two feature requests.

First, I would like to echo the request that was posted back in 2006
by  dmachak, "Re: [shadow-discuss] Categories in Desktop".  It would
be really nice if the desktop could filter the list of outlines by the
categories that the handheld understands.

Second, while Ctrl-F4 to close an open outline is certainly
convenient, and I finally did figure out the close tab icon, it would
be nice to have a close tab mechanism connected to the tab itself. 
Either a right mouse menu like Excel or an X button like Firefox. 
While I make no claim to being typical, that was where I first tried
to look for the functionality.
