Drat.  We have reproduced the problem and are working on the workaround.  It
boils down to this: certain files are not where the install script can see
them so the install fails.  It is highly likely that we can manually put the
files where they can be seen so that the install succeeds.  I am trying to
figure out exactly which files and exactly where users should copy them.
Once this is determined and proven to work, we will update the FAQ and see
about updating the conduit (or at least the installer).  Please be patient
as we are still not even able to install the conduit dev kit as every
portion of it is NLA and out of date and significant changes have been made
to the building blocks.  Know that we will keep you up to date in this group
whenever more is known.
