Yes but that's by design.  It is a big-fixed GPL Yanoff and GPL was pretty
useable (except for the bugs)...

Or set the button to "Del!Lck+EtScrn" (that's a typo fixed in 3.1, it should
be "Del!Lck+ExScrn").
Then, with a single button push you can delete all unlocked articles and
exit the NG.

Personally, I use "DelOnUp!Lck+ExScrn" so I can come back to the remaining
unread articles.
Clearly, you have not been spending enough time on the help screens and in
the FAQ!
EVERYBODY should thoroughly research the ButtonAction options; that is where
the real POWER of New Yanoff resides!
If you pay $24 then you ought to be getting your full money's worth!

Why are you not using your PIM hard keys and FiveWay controls?
I hardly ever use the soft buttons on the screen (too slow)...

Don, Don, Don...
The menu option "Read (kill) subject (v)" accessed by command-v (or just
"v") does this and is also a ButtonAction called "Read (kill) subject".

We sort of already covered this but I'll point out something even better.
Why not set your RockerDown ButtonAction to "LnDn+Del!Lck+Jmp"?  Then, if
you LineDown in a newsgroup's article list and you are at the bottom of the
list, New Yanoff will perform a DeleteAllUnlocked and then Jump to the next
newsgroup.  That's what I do and I'm a really smart (and lazy) guy! :>
