Agreed. I only used it once on Qusnetsoft when I could not remember the exact 
hierarchy of a Linux group I was looking for.

It's easy enough to click the HEAD button in NY and  in Qusnetsoft, I don't 
even pay attention to it.

Binary newsgroups on a PDA seems kind of silly to me. And aren't most binary 
groups just porn or warez anyway?

Well of course I tried Yanoff-. And yeah, I do remember the annoying upgrade 
popups and the HTML mess. But even at that, it's still pretty useable, neh?

$24 is in line with what the PocketPC newsreaders cost (except Qusnetsoft) and 
there isn't any competition that I'm aware of on the Palm side. So, yeah, it 
was well worth the measly $24!!

I hear ya! I'm no big fan of forums myself.

I looked back at Qusnetsoft again to see what else it might offer that NY 
doesn't and the only other significant thing I can find is that with it, you 
can tap and hold a newsgroup in the list window and from the context window 
chose to mark that group read. To do that in NY, you have to mark all 
messages and then delete all marked. *Shrug* - Just a difference and nothing 
I'd consider significant.

Also, I have my button prefs inside an article set to go to previous and next 
subject (thread) (I forget what the originals were. The two buttons on the 
right next to M and L). This makes it easy to skip threads I'm not interested 
in (Qusnetsoft as far as I can tell doesn't have this function). Is there any 
way to set skipped threads as automatically read or marked? Since I have my 
rightmost button on the article list set to DelRead, when I'm done with 
reading a group I just hit that button to empty the group. However, if I skip 
any threads, I have to go back and mark those articles read and then DelRead.
Would be nice if they were either just marked or marked read when I skip them 
so when I go back to the article list screen and delete them all in one fell 
swoop.
