Problems with subscribing new newsgroups

I am using NewYanoff ver.3.0 with conduit. The problem looks as
follows. When I started using NewYanoff, I deleted some old news
servers that I no longer use. Then, NewYanoff stopped syncing - OK, I
switched off Use Poll Prefs in the conduit and everything went
smoothly. Yesterday I tried to add new newsgroups - but nothing
happens - the articles are not pulled by the conduit to new
newsgroups. Any ideas how to make it work with conduit?
