Gregg will probably address this himself, but the "pda-wallet" software is Pocket Purchase. This software allows you to purchase the program directly from your PDA and also to have updates directly downloaded to your PDA. You can actually set it so it doesn't "phone home" unless you want it to. This is common practice with many desktop programs, although New Yanoff is the only Palm program other than the ones from Blue Nomad that I know of that uses it (I'm sure there are others that I don't know of). I've used it with Blue Nomad products and it works well. When I tried to purchase New Yanoff using it, it bombed, but I was using a different PDA then and I think Gregg has since fixed it. It's been a while since I've installed New Yanoff, but I think you can choose not to install Pocket Purchase. At worst, you can delete the program from your Palm and disable the hot sync conduit on your desktop.
