Yes, this type of software is refered to as "Adware" and there is a 
whole industry of software designed to combat such programs. This is 
another reason people are not likely to be interested in yanoff. 
Strangely enough even Gregg asks people not to buy through pocket 
purchase (since he has to pay them for each transaction). Is 
registering yanoff directly through the pda that important? Couldn't 
he just work up a deal with handago and/or palmgear like most other 
palm developers do?

Oh and by the way, having to pay for each major release e.g. from the 
current release 3 to the eventual release 4, is a major downer, even 
if you do get a discount.
