Via email. Subscribe to the group and away you go, or if it in gmane then you
can use yanoff but almost always must subscribe to the actual group if you wish
to post,Subscribes CAN be done via email. Email in my opinion is a much better
and always faster way.

Yes, I got that brain flash that I could do it using email, although I don't
want to clog up my main yahoo account with all of the yahoo groups I belong to.
 Ideally, the email account will have IMAP support so I can have the messages
go to separate folders and be able to get in versamail.

Problem with gmane, as Don also suggested, is that not all groups allow gmane
access.     At least one group I follow, will not allow messages to be
harvested by gmane.
