Just looking at the www.readfreenews.net site, it looks like you need to 
sign up for a password before you can post. Or maybe it's read-only?

To configure a news server password in Yanoff, you need to go to the 
Prefs menu, then Server Preferences, pick your server in the drop-down 
at the top, click the "auth" checkbox and enter your userid & password.

I don't use readfreenews myself, but subscribe to the service on 
news.individual.net (10 euros/year, pretty cheap), and have had no 
problem with posting with Yanoff.
