This is correct. I included the news.ReadFreeNews.net server as a default server because I esteemed it *highly* unlikely to ever "die" and it allows for downloading articles without login. To *post*, users must sign up for a login/password and reconfigure the Server Prefs. BTW, the subject of your original post was severely lacking; every poster should make sure he posts a *substantive* subject. To do otherwise is both rude and irritating and highly likely to cause readers to skip your post altogether.
