"Grandfathering" of Classic/GPL Yanoff articles?

Congratulations on the release of the Yanoff updates!  It must be very
gratifying to have reached this milestone.  After reading through the
manual and FAQ, I find myself with a few questions (possibly I
overlooked something).  

Q1: You say in the FAQ that there are differences in the NewsArts.pdb
data structure between New and Classic/GPL Yanoff.  Suppose I have
some articles that I've downloaded and saved with Classic Yanoff -- is
there some way of transferring or importing these articles to a New
Yanoff database?

Q2: Does New Yanoff support / recognize SD cards for its message
databases?

Q3: Has New Yanoff been tested with 3rd party app launchers such as
XLauncher?  If so, are there any known problems with running New
Yanoff from an SD card?
