Please explain what you mean by "the down button doesn't work".
The down button certainly should work in all versions of Yanoff.

I just tested Yanoff- and the down button works fine.
The down button certainly would be a pretty mean thing
(and disappointing) thing to leave out; that's why we left it in!
Help me figure out what's happening and we'll get it fixed.
The problem may be that you don't realize (it is in the dox)
that only the actions before/below "REGISTER" are
available in Yanoff-. You are probably doing "down+jump"
or some other navigational option and those are all
"for pay" actions. However "down" and all the essential
basic options are available to Yanoff- users.

We are working on it.

Coming in 3.0

This can be done manually but there's nothing automatic yet...

It is called "Kill (read) Subject".

We thought about this but it is significantly more complicated because,
instead
of a menu list ("free" with OS API), an entirely new and somewhat
complicated
facility would be required for the configuration screen. We are still
considering
this idea for future releases. We assume that with the current actions, the
vast majority of users' desires will be covered.

We appreciate your comments but suggest you reconsider Y-.
There is a LOT more in there than you realize. The down
button thing is a fluke (first I've heard) and we should be
able to get that working in no time...
