cannot download an image

Hi

Just got my simpad SL4. I followed the how-to and upgraded the bootloader 
2.5.3. So far so good. Then I tried the to flash the linux opie image 
0.8.1.1 without success. See below the output of serload after the download 
was completed. After the download I pressed f in order to boot from flash 
but nothing happened. No response to any further keystrokes. Then I 
terminated serload, startet minicom and pressed this little reset button. 
The monitor came up (see second output below). I have the feeling the flash 
is 'empty' (Boothdr at 0x05080000 -> 0xffffffff) or serload failed at the 
end of the download to write the header. I assume I have the right 
bootloader as the reported version is 2.5.3. I can find questions regarding 
that problem in the archives but no answers.
