Ok so for example finding out ( when not looking at the src ) where UART3 is 
mapped to and use it as console. YOu've to recompile and reflash the kernel 
just because of one digit substitution? Now normally you run a kernel but 
then want to attach a console to it? Ah simply recompile and flash? Sorry my 
hardware is fucking old and compiling takes ages and serial uploading is not 
what I consider fast.

No future versions of ARMLinux might only support TAG list for configs. Sure 
you can patch around a bootldr  you can't control.

Support of booting off CF Card, Multiple Boots, Boot of the jffs2 partition

But anyway we don't force to use a particular bootldr for now so its all about 
choiche.
