/home in 0.9

Greetings,
I managed to flash (simpad slc) the new bootloader and 0.9-rc1. The
appearance is nice and it feels fast and responsive.
Two quick questions: 
Is there a feed for this release somewhere ?

df says that 644 blocks are used in /home in a newly flashed image, yet
the directory is completely empty ??
