Thanks, Ryan.  Thats what I'll do.
I ended up having to do a hard reset the other day over that upgrade.  
Then I had to be sure to delete the ROMUpdater (i think it was called) 
from the backup file and then reload the whole thing again.  It took 
awhile but I didn't loose anything.  PalmOne support sent me an email 
and said to do a backup, hard reset,
do the upgrade and then reintall the backup.  Just in case anyone is 
wondering....  Mary
