Did you try to shut down the HP software before syncing?  When did syncing stop
exactly?

Fortunately, I have 2 GB of RAM and a 2 GB hard drive so I am not memory
lacking. However, when I try to sync my PDA, it gets hung up on the first sync
'circle' and never proceeds beyond that. Thanks for responding but I'm still
stuck in never-sync land!
