Which DBD are you trying to use ? If its a pure perl driver, you can use DBI::PurePerl...check www.presicient.com/terapocket for a working example (BTW, that example also is running from a 3G cellular phone w/ PocketPC). You might want to consider DBD::Proxy, since I believe it is PurePerl compatible, but it takes some extra setup on a middle tier somewhere (to setup the proxy server). Good luck!
