Hi!
Just because this CDCEther rings some bells for me,
maybe you have compiled CDCEther in the kernel ?
Old roms used cdcether, new ones use usbdnet - according
to my understanding of this issue.

$$$ When I try to ping the Zaurus I get 'Destination Host Unreachable' and
$$$ messages from usb-uhci in /var/log/messages like this:
