showDocument() equivalent?

Greetings,

	Does anyone know of a platform-independent way, if any, for my
PersonalJava app to launch a browser (probably Opera in the Zaurus's case)?
A co-worker suggested showDocument() in java.applet.AppletContext might
work, but we're both a little skeptical. I'll try it when I get there,
though.
