Development Environment Problems

I've been having some problems with my development environment, and
after much googling and work, I still can't seem to figure things out.
According to the compiler setup howto on zauruszone.com
(http://www.zauruszone.farplanet.net/howtos/linux_compiler_setup_howto.shtml),
both the QPEDIR and QTDIR environment variables are supposed to point to
the Qtopia base directory. However, when I setup my development
environment this way and try to compile the Qtopia example application,
I get several pages of errors
(http://www.bernsen.us/james/tmp/compile_errs.txt), the first of them
being that the compiler can't find a #included file
(qwsdefaultdecoration_qws.h) that is located under the qt-embedded
include directory.

When I set my QTDIR to point to the qt-embedded base directory, the
example application compiles fine and runs great in the virtual
framebuffer. Is this wrong? Furthermore, when I set my environment to
cross-compile for the Zaurus (QTDIR still pointing to qt-embedded), the
example application compiles fine, but when transferred to the Zaurus
and run from the terminal, I get the following error:

./example: error while loading shared libraries: ./example: undefined
symbol:
new_metaobject__11QMetaObjectPCcT1P9QMetaDataiT3iP13QMetaPropertyiP9QMetaEnumiP10QClassInfoi

Can anybody tell me what's wrong with my setup? I've got Qt-Embedded:
2.3.2 and Qtopia: 1.5.0, with gcc 2.95.3 and arm-linux-gcc 2.95.2. The
LD_LIBRARY_PATH on the Zaurus is set to /home/QtPalmtop/lib.

Thanks for your help,
James Bernsen
