You'll notice that X, C and V on the keyboard are labelled
"Cut", "Copy" and "Paste"; they don't have any 'characters' ("!", "#", etc)
attached to them.
To do Ctrl characters for almost ANY A-Z key on the keyboard, hold
Sh+Fn+key. For Z, X, C and V (not: Z is 'Undo' in most cases; just not
labelled), you only need Fn+key.
