| A guy is offering me a mint-condition used 5500 for $100. While I | typically buy the most recent model in any product line to stave off | obsolescence. It's terrible that there's always someone around trying to take advantage of the newbie enthusiasm with "deals" like this one. Positively shameful. I sincerely advise that you go with your well-tuned and admirable instincts in re: avoiding obsolescence. The best and safest route is clearly to go with the newer, faster and much more exciting model 5600. This also helps to encourage Sharp in maintaining the line. All of us in the Zaurus community will benefit from your choice. As far as this scoundrel offering the so-called "mint condition" outmoded and rickety SL-5500 for $100 (an outrage), please pass along his email address to me via private back-channel email. I'll give this fellow a stern talking to and I will personally assure that this brazen offer is not allowed to confuse more earnest new-comers.
