So, obviously I'm going to call IBM if myself and Google cannot solve
the problem.

Sun's attitude has always been questionable when it comes to Linux - I
have several friends who work/have worked for Sun (including the
downsized to near zero Cobalt group) and I deal with Sun techs daily who
don't agree with Sun's stance on Linux (and run Linux or OS-X
themselves).

Sun welcomes and supports Linux in the same way the Iraqi people welcome
the U.S. military - "It's here, it's not going to go away, may as well
pretend we wanted it here in the first place."
