I can't set up my PC as a router as it forces the shared connection to have the IP 192.168.0.1, and that's already taken on the network, by another PC that shares the Internet connection in the flat, so I'm forced to use a proxy (at least I don't know any other way). My PC runs Windows XP Pro. My Zaurus runs the software that came with it. The proxy I use is SOHOConnection v2.1 (a simple, free, java based proxy, that can be downloaded here http://www.servlet.com/soho2/). My PDA has the default IP 192.168.129.201 and the connection on the PC (through USB) has 192.168.129.1. I can send emails, synchronise, surf the web, no problem, but I can't download my emails. I tried both POP3 and IMAP, and I'm pretty sure the proxy is set up correctly. When I try, the email client on the Zaurus says "connection established" but doesn't get any further. On the proxy I get: utilGeneric-143: Blocked unauthorized attempt from 192.168.129.201 to access 192.168.129.1 But I can't see why it's unauthorised, the IMAP proxy is activated on port 143, and (should) redirect to my mail server. On my Zaurus the mail server is set to 192.168.129.1:143 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Franck.
