David, The SMC 2642W I have works flawlessly with SharpROM < 3.x and OZ. It probably works with all SharpROMs but I haven't tried it. It is Type II and doesn't cover any access holes. I suspect its power usage is higher than the others. I've also tried it in a laptop _once_ with an adapter. Make sure you get a Type II PC card adapter. Most adapters are Type I. My adapter is Radio Shack 25-936. It is older technology and probably out of production. Dave
