Currently I switching form Linux to MacOSX. 
For syncing I still use my linux-system and kitchensync. Afterwards I sync the 
data to my pBook, using file syncronization and still using the KDE tools 
KAddressbook and KOrganizer.
I think, this is isn't the perfect solution, but it works quite well.

The perfect solution would be to port kitchensync to Mac and to use the 
available input/export filters to vCal and vCard. This shouldn't be too 
complicated, but I don't have the time to do that.

iCal reads and writes the vcal-format from kOrganizer, but has problems with 
todo-entries, generated by kOrganizer. Therfore, we just need a minor 
modification to the current kitchensync export filter.

Mac-Addressbook reads and writes vcards, like kAddressbook. We just need a 
little bit Applescript glue-code for automatic import/export..

After that, we had a working PIM syncronization for Mac .. :)
