KOrganizer/Embedded- no repeating events?

Since I can't get QtopiaDesktop working with SuSE 9.0, and have gotten no help 
after posting it a week ago, I'm looking for replacement PIM apps which don't 
need QtopiaDesktop to sync with something that runs on SuSE.

I downloaded KOrganizer/Embedded, but it looks like there is no way to create 
recurring events.  Is this the case, or am I missing something?  How could 
they have thought it was more important to get that complicated "attendees" 
screen than to support recurring events?

Any other recommendations for replacement PIMs, or advice getting QD1.7 to run 
on SuSE 9.0 welcome.
