I'm hoping you're kidding about having sent that to them because  
honestly this just comes across as some petulant child whining that  
their personal whims aren't being catered to, which is the last thing  
we need in convincing a group that Dvorak is a legitimate and mature  
thing to include. A much more reasonable argument would be the fact  
that after tying for 30 years on Dvorak being forced to type in QWERTY  
would seriously hamper your typing speed and force you to concentrate  
on where keys are on a keyboard instead of the answers to the test.

Also, one handed typists are NOT best served with Dvorak. There are  
keyboard layouts specifically designed for one handed typists, even  
layouts for one fingered typists. Dvorak would be a terrible layout  
for a one handed typists, as your be constantly swinging your arm back  
and forth across the bulk of the keyboard since Dvorak is designed to  
(as much as possible) have each keystroke be under a different "hand"  
as you're typing which is a ton of movement if you're one handed.
