Ouch, I hope that's a unusual example.

My Typematrix has been with me daily since September of 2004. Your
results may vary, but mine have been great. I will need a new Dvorak
model one day soon, but with a little TLC (hoovering between the keys
mostly, plus I swapped a pair of the little rubber under-springs to
awaken two limping keys this year) it's been a reliable companion. End
of testimony.
