(1) My Kinesis died on me after a few months. Not cool. Not impressed. (2) Unlike the TypeMatrix, you cannot take it with you by tossing it in your laptop bag. Therefore, your on-the-road typing experience will always be different, distracting and less productive than your at-the-desk typing experience. (3) The TypeMatrix takes up very little deskspace. Now that I've gotten used to that, I don't want a big keyboard on my desk. But certainly, people should be looking at one of these two. Maybe you don't hit the road much or at all. Maybe you didn't have quality problems like I did. I can see how someone would be a Kinesis fan. "Programmable" is a BIG plus for it--which is available even without the foot pedals. Regardless of one's sex life, they should be typing on a Kinesis or TypeMatrix in a key mapping other than RETARDED (also known as QWERTY). -Chuck -- http://chuckesterbrook.com/
