Re: Kinesis Spacebar Difficulties

I'm going to go with Giles on this, I have never heard that complaint. That being said, you can always call Kinesis and ask. Personally I have switched my backspace and space keys, but that's my preference.

Using the Kinesis Contoured is a little different and typing flat is not where it's at. Ideally you will want to float your hands, above the keyboard (well, that's what "they" say anyway) when I got my first Contoured keyboard I actually made some wrist stands to wrest my arms on and let my fingers go to town--really it worked. The little palm rest things also help to raise your hands some.  

If you want to get fancy, you can pull the keycap off and just try to hit the switch.

For whatever it's worth, there are some other keyboards available that are flatter, which may or may not be beneficial, I'm interested in the "TrulyErgonomic" keyboard just for that reason, but it doesn't come with a built in Dvorak option (fact is, I don't even know if it's available yet)
