sobjornstad, this is another good point. To this day, I have an idea to recess the keyboard into my desk so that it's "flat".--all it would take is a little sawing. 

If you, or your mother, set the keyboard on top of a slightly high desk (e.g. not on a keytray), or on a table, or you may find that things are forced out of whack. Same thing could happen if a chair is too low.
