Played with it for 15 minutes on my Android phone. Cool concept and easy to learn. I doubt however whether it'll be even half as fast as the on-screen qwerty keyboard (I use the HTC_IME mod which is a bit more powerful than the stock Android keyboard). 8pen has special character support: long press when you've selected your character. After a while the special characters show up. The funky ones Edi mentioned aren't included though. On a side note, they are included in the HTC_IME keyboard: ščł cost about 2 seconds each, also using long press. About the shift key: 8pen supports capital keys by putting more pressure on the screen. Innovative, I've never seen an app do something with the amount of touch pressure, besides drawing apps. Didn't work very well for me on the first try. I won't keep using 8pen, but it's a nice alternative if double-thumb typing is not your thing :) Cheers, Aron On 9 May 2011 17:54, "Keith Ratliff" <[email protected]> wrote: [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
