CAN protocol used Mersedes Benz bus 0-500

Hello every one,

In a project we want to interpret Mercedes Benz bus 0-500 CAN data. We were
successful to receive data from CAN bus (from star-point and Instrument
control). However we don't know what protocol is used in these buses, for
example is it j1939 or another protocol has been used?
