IMHO, the group is still a good place to discuss CAN basics in any technical depth and new developments such as CAN-FD etc., no matter if you subscribe on Yahoo or via e-mail (http://canlist.org/canlist_subscribe_en.html). BTW, we have another mirror at http://can-bus.996267.n3.nabble.com/ with 60 users.
