It could be using some CAN frames specified by manufacturer of this "automat" and it could be that it is some standardized protocol. Tn this case I assume it is CANopen[1] and you have to implement his protocol using a commercial available protocol stack. CiA [2] has a listing. My first advice: talk with the manufacturer of the machine you like to connect with. Ask him. Ask which protocol you have to implement.
