This book should be of interest to anyone doing software-GPS work:

http://www.amazon.com/Software-Defined-GPS-Galileo-Receiver-Single-Frequency
/dp/0817643907

It comes with complete working MATLAB code (I've not checked any of the info
yet), which would work with a USB dongle.

The dongle is also available here:

http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8238

I believe the software is currently running offline and using "raw" I & Q
(and FFT) to acquire and track the signals,

but it should now be possible to adapt osGPS to this (in realtime, in a real
computer language :-))

I'd love to hear anybody's comments on this project (Aalborg University
originally)
